The Roadrunner Review is an online literary journal produced by students at La Sierra University, a Seventh-day Adventist institution. We publish three issues a year.
We want to create a literary space for other students and welcome submissions from around the world. We are interested in work that plunges us into a moment and unravels larger truths. We like to be surprised with language, and we find that wonder can come when ordinary moments are carefully observed. Because the world is a busy place, we aim to give readers short, vivid reading experiences. All of our pieces will be 1000 words or less.
Our student editorial team changes with each issue. The table of contents for each issue includes a masthead, where you can see who has been doing the vital work of selecting material for publication and copy editing. Sari Fordham is the faculty sponsor and editor-in-chief.
